 SUPERVISION

Supervision for Clinicians

Welcome to a space dedicated to professional growth, skill refinement, and personal development. My supervision services are designed to empower clinicians who are passionate about advancing their expertise in psychology, trauma-focused care, group therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Whether you're starting your journey in facilitating groups or looking to deepen your existing practice, we provide the tools and insights to help you excel.

Why Supervision Matters

Running trauma-informed group therapy requires a delicate balance of empathy, structure, and skill. My supervision sessions offer:

  • Expert Guidance: Learn evidence-based practices and trauma-sensitive techniques to navigate the complexities of group dynamics.
  • Mindfulness Integration: Understand how to weave mindfulness and self-compassion into group settings, fostering a safe and nurturing space for participants.
  • Ethical and Trauma-Informed Practice: Develop confidence in your ability to create group environments that prioritize the psychological safety and well-being of every member.
  • Practical Skills: Gain hands-on strategies for structuring groups, managing challenges, and facilitating meaningful connections.

Who Is This For?

This supervision program is ideal for clinicians who:

  • Want to enhance their expertise in trauma-focused group therapy.
  • Aspire to integrate mindfulness and self-compassion into their therapeutic approaches.
  • Are new to facilitating groups and seek foundational guidance.
  • Have experience running groups but want to refine their trauma-informed care strategies.

What to Expect

In our supervision sessions, you’ll experience:

  • Collaborative Learning: A space to share experiences, discuss challenges, and explore creative solutions.
  • Trauma-Informed Focus: Insights into managing trauma responses and fostering resilience within group settings.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities to reflect on your practice, align with best practices, and deepen your therapeutic impact.

I am very passionate about supervision as this is an opportunity for me giving back to the professional community of practitioners. To me one of the most important aspects in supervision is the relationship between the supervisor and supervisee. Learning takes place when people feel safe enough to leave their comfort zone and enter the challenge zone.

Within this work I see myself more as a follower than a leader, a gentle escort in your learning with compassion. My work and way of being is deeply anchored in mindfulness and compassion. If you wish to explore and learn how to become a mindfulness therapist or teacher then please contact me on my email.

If you want to become a fully certified MBSR/MBCT teacher you may benefit from some additional supervision. I am providing supervision to mindfulness teachers who wish to work in the health professional field (eg. Psychologists, GPs). I am really feeling privileged  in taking part in your journey as a mindfulness teacher.   I see supervision as  a great opportunity for being with you and offering my experience in this learning space.

Please note that the Qualification and Certification as a Mindfulness-Based Teacher is based on specific assessment criteria. These criteria are developed by trainers at the  Center for Mindfulness and Research and Practice CMRP Bangor in collaboration with University Mindfulness-Based centres in Exeter and Oxford and the Mindful Academy.  The MBI-TAC is a six competency-based  assessment model.
